Streaming Video Requests

Videos may be placed on reserve at the Library for viewing in our media rooms. If portions of a library-owned video need to be streamed, the video may be borrowed and taken to the Faculty Center for Professional Excellence (FCPE) for processing.

If faculty wish to stream the entire length of an educational video owned by the Library, please email pertinent information to Access Services at Alternatively, telephone Access Services (x3570) or Stan Bogdanov, the Library’s Instructional Multimedia Specialist (x3553). Applicable copyright restrictions will be reviewed and we will respond accordingly. Please be aware that as full length video streaming is often not permissible under copyright guidelines, we recommend alternate arrangements whenever possible. If several full length movies will need to be viewed throughout the semester, rental services (such as Netflix or Blockbuster) may be used, either by the faculty member or each student.
