The Richard Stoelzer Collection at Adelphi University

Welcome to the Richard Stoelzer Collection in Special Collections at Adelphi University Libraries in Garden City, New York .

The Collection of music and musical instruments was established by Mr. Stoelzer's daughter, Mrs. Flora Stoelzer Specht, a longtime resident of nearby Floral Park . The music and instruments are primarily associated with Mr. Stoelzer's performing ensemble, The Mozart Symphony Club which toured the United States extensively in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
