Expatriate Collection

expatriate-no-findingThe Expatriate Collection includes over 200 titles by and related to American expatriate writers including Gertrude Stein, Alice B. Toklas, T. S. Eliot, Laura Riding Jackson, Harry and Caresse Crosby, and Paul Bowles. Especially noteworthy are the limited editions and publications of two small presses: the Seizin Press established by Robert Graves and Laura Riding Jackson in Deya, Majorca, and the Black Sun Press in Paris, for titles by Harry and Caresse Crosby and other expatriates. Both presses flourished in the first half of the 20th century.
